Q. What size
RASCo Knot should I use?
A. The quick answer is: One Size Fits All!
Our re-engineered large
RASCo Knot will work on all sizes and shapes of containers. It will also work with any type of liner - whether it be low or
high density - even drawstring bags. The Large
RASCo Knot is now our General Purpose RASCo Knot and will work effectively with virtually any application or combination of
Can and Liner.
Q.
How long will the
RASCo Knot stick to a can?
A. The
RASCo Knot should last as long as you own the can. The adhesive can take up to 24 hours after application to fully cure, but
the
RASCo Knot can be used immediately, under normal conditions, if applied to a clean, dry surface.
Q. Will the
RASCo Knot work on round cans?
A. Yes. The
RASCo Knot will stick to any shaped container.
Q. Do I need
to do anything special before applying the
RASCo Knot?
A. Make sure the surface you are applying
the
RASCo Knot to is clean and dry. We also recommend that the area where the
RASCo Knot is to be placed is rubbed with and isopropyl alcohol to remove the oily release agent residue that is often found
on plastic containers.
Q. Can I stack cans if they have
RASCo Knot on them?
A. Yes - you will be able to stack most cans if the
RASCo Knot is properly installed just under the rim. Many users have told us the
RASCo Knot makes cans easier to unstack because the RASCo Knot prevents a vacuum effect.
Q. Can I still wash my trashcans with
RASCo Knot on them?
A. Yes - most cleaning methods will not affect the
RASCo Knot. Keep in mind that the adhesive is rubber based, so extremely hot temperatures and some chemicals could affect
the bond. You may want to test the method of cleaning you use on one or two cans before cleaning them all.
Q. Do
RASCo Knot work on both high and low density liners?
A. Yes. RASCo Knot work on all sizes and types of liners.
Q. How do
RASCo Knot save money?
A RASCo Knot make liner changes easier and faster. On average
RASCo Knots save 5 to 10 seconds per liner change versus tying knots. Time is money.
The RASCo Knot can also offset the rising costs of plastic liners by reducing the amount of
"overlining" often used to hang over the rim.
The RASCo Knot will also save you the clean-up time associated with
collapsing bags.
